Alright Already

Classes started today, and everything slid into a vague familiarity: losing shit over new professors, the constant failing of IT equipment, and the immediate confusion over things that should be somewhat simple.

Although we have already been given syllabi for two of our classes, and these syllabi probably comprise approximately five grown trees per student, I feel a certain calm. Last semester, the overarching question seemed to be, "Can I do this?" In the literal sense of the phrase. Now, at least, I know it is possible for me to take in that information and retain it long enough to spit it back onto a multiple choice test. And, even above that, I found today that I had retained an impressive amount of information. I guess that's the wonder of learning.
