Second Guest post--Brittany, too, on Friendship, and on Us

[Brittany usually writes over at Perksofbeingme where her blog could be considered a sequel to a journal. She usually starts mid-thought and often doesn't finish writing about what she started to write about.]

When Jenny asked for volunteers to write a guest blog I knew I wanted to do it, the only problem is that I can't think of what to write. I've been thinking about it for a few days and yet I find myself stuck without a topic.

We were sitting in Barnes and Nobles drinking coffee and catching up. It had been almost a year since I had seen her last and our conversations had been sporadic at best, but it felt as if we'd only been apart a few days. Her brother was there and the ease in which the three of us sat at a table talking, laughing, sharing was incredible. I don't remember the exact words that were spoken but I remember the feeling. Book recommendations were given and laughter was shared.

I'm not one of those people who can remember words spoken and stories told, I simply remember the feelings I had. And that day, I walked away feeling renewed. Rejuvenated. Whole.
